The OSEA Undaria Algae Body Butter is by far my favorite new body butter discovery. I’ve been testing out a few body butters lately since I’ve been trying to get into more body care products.
I’ve tried some from Kopari and Ouai, but they just haven’t met the mark. Although I do love the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, some days, I just feel like smelling a different kind of scent.
OSEA Undaria Algae Body Butter
The Undaria Algae Body Butter is a newer release from Osea. I just unpacked it yesterday and tried it this morning after my morning shower and it was love at first application.

Ceramides (Oat Kernel Extract)
Skin Identical Carbohydrate Complex (Saccharide Isomerate)
Why I love it
It is really great at moisturizing all over the body without being hard to sink into the skin. My skin feels supple and brand new without the workout I have to have when using other body butters in order to get the product to adequately sink into my skin.
OSEA Undaria Body Butter VS Other Body Butters
For example, the Kopari Ultra Restore Body Butter smells amazing, buuut unfortunately it doesn’t sink into the skin with ease. When I say that I feel like I am doing a workout in order to get the product to my skin, I really do feel like I did a workout.
Something to note is that I do have carpal tunnel. I don’t think that body butter is great for someone who even slightly has carpal tunnel.
I’ve also tried the Ouia Body Creme. Now that one is easier to apply to the skin, buuut it isn’t very moisturizing. At all. Since we’re on that subject, I would just say that I wouldn’t purchase another Ouia body product. I don’t think it’s their forte, which makes sense because that’s not what they started with.
I’m getting a little off topic.
All that was to say that out of all these body butters I’ve tried in the last year, the OSEA Undaria Algae Body Butter definitely stands out.
I would say it ranks just as high on my list as the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, but this has been my favorite new body butter I’ve tried in 2022.
I can’t wait to test out more of OSEA’s products in the future, I have a feeling that if the rest are formulated the same way, I will find more favorites on their whole line.
I’ve had pretty good luck lately testing out products like the Cay Skin Sunscreen. I can’t wait to try out more products.
