It has been a while since I’ve posted on here! Life has changed so much since October. I can’t quantify the different ways, but it truly has for the better. I’ve become more in line with my content and have been less scared to lose followers. I wanted to focus on my favorites from this week, which of course includes the Chanel Baume Lip Balm.
Chanel Baume Lip Balm
Formally known as the Rouge Coco Baume Lip Balm . I have the Dreamy White shade, which just goes on clear for me. I actually received it for Valentine’s Day (because I specifically asked for it haha) and I just knew I was going to love it. It is moisturizing without being too much, which I have a big problem with when it comes to lip balms.
Also, the packaging is just to die for. I mean in my eyes, Chanel packaging can just truly do no wrong. I also wanted it in order to incentivize myself to wear lip balm. Lip balm is just one of those things that I tend to forget about or fight to put on just because of how uncomfortable it can be under masks.
Would I say that the formula is life-changing? No not necessarily. It feels good. It is hydrating. It puts a smile on my face every single time I use it. But can you live without it? Most definitely. At $42, it is definitely at a higher price point in comparison to other lip balms. But I mean it’s Chanel.
Daily Essentials
Chanel LA CRÈME MAIN TEXTURE RICHE
Lately I’ve also been obsessed with the Chanel Hand Cream. I saw it over and over on my Instagram and I have to say that I got influenced to purchase it. I also have extremely dry hands due to both the “winter” we are experiencing in California and to the frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitizer.
I’m a sucker for packaging so I definitely have to say that I’m in love with the packaging. It’s a little hard to get the product out, but otherwise the packaging is just to die for.
Touchland Glow Mist Rejuvenating Hand Sanitizer
I remember when the pandemic first started and how hand sanitizers were much sought after by everyone. The problem with regular hand sanitizers is that it can be extremely drying. Even more so with the amount of times that we have to use it during the day.
I like this hand sanitizer because it smells divine, but it is definitely not too overpowering. Also, it doesn’t swish around the hand because it is a mist instead of a liquid. This may not be important for most people, but for parents, a sanitizer mist is game changing. Also, my kids think that it’s pretty fun to get “misted”.
Future Plans
I am hoping to post on here more regularly. My plan was initially to write a blog on at least a weekly basis. I was doing good with that for a while, but then as you know, life happens. I started class again, but I know that it wasn’t an excuse. I think finally gaining traction on my socials has helped with my motivation.
I definitely want more Chanel skincare beauty and skincare in my life. I am in love with the packaging and if it helps me actually use my skincare products, then I’m totally down. I have had my eyes on the sunscreen to be honest. I still have a lot of unopened sunscreen in my stock but ugh the packaging is just calling to me.
Oh and by the way, if you wanted to test out Touchland hand sanitizers I have a code for 10% off, just use TK10 on checkout.
